RESPONSIBLE SOURCING
All of our Italian made accessories are responsibly sourced products and adhere to all current EU regulations and anti-slavery legislation. What sets Made in Italy products apart from any other country is the assurance of a beautifully designed fashion accessory where regional traditions and craftsmanship are maintained to the highest standards.
Sustainably and ethically sourced materials are as important to Italian designers as ever especially with the fashion industry’s war on waste. With Italy manufacturers, clients can buy in small quantities and still have a wide choice of colour and design, unlike the volume and fast fashion supply chain which is mainly found in China and India.
Our leather gloves are made in Naples, the traditional glove making region of Italy. Unlike all other leather products, leather gloves are made using farmed sheep skin which has been tanned locally for hundreds of years. There are 15 different processes involved in the making of each pair of leather gloves and each one is entirely made by hand-craft experts.
Our hats are produced in Montappone in Le Marche which is the traditional straw hat-making region of Italy. Like straw, we only use natural materials such as organic cotton, linen or wool for our hats and caps.
Our silk scarves, ties and hankies can only be made in Como, the silk capital of the world throughout history. Our silk mills today make stunning printed or knitted silks in every style and design inspired by print design archives which have been maintained hundreds of years.
